What's New

What changed in ESOLL, version by version.

  1. 1.2.0

The biggest update so far: ESOLL has a new look, your data is far better protected, and achievements, addons, backups and the gallery are more reliable.

    New

    • One News section

Official and ESO-Hub news appear together by date, with a filter for patches, PTS and updates only.

    • Notice when the game updates

Home tells you after an ESO update and links to the official patch notes. It is detected on your PC, without going online.

    • Four new ReShade presets

ESO Redefined, UBER Fidelity Suite III, HD Contrast and Colours and Royale Reshade, as ESOLL's own versions inspired by each mod.

    • Collections you can share

Pick each collection's addons, share it with a code and install what is missing. It never uninstalls anything.

    • Contact from the app

In Settings → Contact you can send suggestions or report bugs, with no account and anonymously.

    • Choose your ESO folder

If your PC has more than one ESO folder (live server, PTS or a copy in OneDrive), choose which one ESOLL uses in Addons → Settings.

    Improvements

    • A new look that is easier to use

A style closer to ESO, and themes with their own palette and font. Buttons, menus and screens are redesigned so every section is clearer and easier to understand. Inter and Crimson Pro read comfortably with any theme.

    • Richer achievements

Rewards, ranks, real progress (“9/100”), points, the game's categories and several accounts. “View guide” opens ESO-Hub in your language, with UESP as a fallback. Run /reloadui in game after updating.

    • Lighter, safer backups

Four times smaller, they include which addons are enabled, compare by content, and scheduled ones run with ESOLL in the tray. Your current state is saved before restoring.

    • A redesigned gallery

A handier, more intuitive toolbar and filters. It finds new screenshots by itself, shows JPG resolution, and tags follow renamed or moved screenshots. If you install the ESOLL addon (in Achievements → Settings), each screenshot gets its character and zone automatically.

    • Addons

Filter by real categories, search by several words and enable or disable as the game does, without moving folders. Uninstalling asks first.

    • ReShade explained

The app explains what it is and verifies the installer's signature. Cards ship with their image.

    • Home and Launcher

The button shows when the launcher or the game is running, and Steam hours update when the game closes. Scheduled launches work from the tray.

    • Lighter, more useful Metrics

Each addon's impact is measured by its saved data, you can clear data from uninstalled addons, and the screen uses fewer resources while you play.

    • More protection for your data

We strengthened how your Steam key is stored, ESOLL only touches the folders it manages, and fonts are bundled, so the app looks the same offline.

    Fixes

    • Achievement progress

It no longer empties by itself. If it happened to you, press “Sync” once. English duplicates and dates with day and month swapped are fixed too.

    • Installing and updating addons

No more phantom updates; refreshing the catalog works right away; a failure halfway keeps your version; and libraries update when an addon needs it.

    • Launching with the official launcher

If it is already open, it comes to the front; if you cancel the Windows prompt, it no longer stays on “Launching”.

    • Gallery

No broken thumbnails from deleted screenshots and no repeated Steam screenshots.

    • Game detection

“ESO installation detected” only shows when the game really is installed.

    • Clearer error messages

They follow the app's language and explain what failed and what to do, such as closing the game before uninstalling ReShade.

  2. 1.1.0

This one is about daily use: the app feels snappier, it can sit in the tray, and addons, libraries and ReShade are less of a hassle.

    New

    • System tray

Minimize or close ESOLL to the tray, start it with Windows, and keep a single window. Turn it on under Settings → Window.

    • Unused libraries

A new tab finds addon libraries nothing uses anymore. Keep them or delete them; you get a warning if something still needs them. Take a backup first.

    • One folder for the game

ReShade and the launcher share the client folder, the one with eso64.exe. The picker will not take Documents or AddOns, and Steam, Epic and extra drives are easier to find.

    • Lighter gallery

Screenshots load from disk with less work, so a big gallery stays usable.

    Improvements

    • Update addons on startup

If you never turned it on, it stays off. If you already enabled it, nothing changes.

    • The ReShade folder is used to launch too

If you already picked a ReShade folder, the launcher uses that one as well.

    • Going back to a module does not reload everything

Home, Addons, News, ESO-Hub, ReShade, backups and achievements reuse what they already loaded.

    • Servers and Steam hours

Server status refreshes at most once an hour. Steam hours stay on screen and update on the same schedule.

    • Launching the game

Play opens the right launcher (Steam, Epic, Heroic, Lutris or the official one) without scanning the disk again. Auto-close waits for the game to start, then closes the Bethesda launcher. It no longer sends keystrokes.

    • A simpler startup

Only the language you are using loads first. Scanning disk at launch (addons, backups, screenshots) no longer freezes the window.

    • App icon

The gold E, with a black halo, on a transparent background.

    Fixes

    • Turning ReShade off

Turning a preset off actually clears it. The card and Home stop showing it as active, without reloading the whole list.

    • Errors in your language

ReShade, launcher and path messages follow the language of the interface.

    • PTS test client

The PTS client is no longer treated as live ESO.
